Pair of Charles II Oak Back Stools
The decorative influences of regal elegance from the era of Charles II 1660-1685 has been captured in this pair of late 19th century back stools. The oak has a strong, rich colour with a high sheen; both stools are in excellent condition. The breakarched back panels are carved with stylised flowers and foliage between globular finials. The frames having boarded seats and channelled rails on turned legs with stretchers have been sympathetically restored by Robinscroft Interiors. Dimensions: Seat H: 46cm, Seat W: 49cm, Seat D: 37cm, Overall H: 114cm.
