Walnut Clerks Desk Top Writing Slope

An attractive early desk tidy to recapture the nostalgia of letter writing and receiving. This clerks desk top slope has been crafted from solid walnut and incorporates a lidded upper storage chamber with a beautifully decorative carved cornice. The ruby red leather top insert is in excellent condition. Currently the item has not retained the keys required for the main bureau and upper storage box.
